Donna C. Henry has over 17 years of clinical experience as a Registered Massage Therapist.

A proud graduate of the highly accredited Sutherland Chan teaching school Teaching School and Clinic in Toronto, her clinical and educational background has provided her with experience working with athletes in training for events and during the injury rehabilitation process.  Donna recently gained certification in a Manual Myofascial Therapy, called "Dynamic Brain Healing".®© With this proven system she is successfully treating the 20% that doesn't heal from a traumatic brain injury in a few weeks to a month. This proven system, allows Donna to help her clients heal from not only TBI's (traumatic brain injuries), but Donna has also had success healing her client's of chronic pain, and trauma's. Donna's new certification has elevated her already successful practice with life-changing results for her clients of all ages.

Donna has also facilitated treating a variety of clients managing cancer, diabetes, multiple sclerosis, and a variety of neurological disorders. Her personal experience with dealing with a TBI and persistent symptoms has given her a greater understanding of the debilitating effects and injured brain has on the muscles and the entire body. She is also skilled at working with high-risk pregnancies, piriformis syndrome (known as sciatica), disc herniation, headaches, carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, and frozen shoulder name a few. She utilizes techniques such as General Swedish Massage Techniques, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue Therapy, and joint Mobilization.

Donna maintained strong client relations in Milton for over 8 plus years, giving her clients the stability of the same healthcare professional, while successfully treating each client with a treatment plan to meet the clients healthcare needs. When she relocated to Burlington, her faithful Milton clientele, stuck with her and most waited for her to return from her accident in 2019.

​

Donna struggled with persistent symptoms of a TBI she sustained in a car accident for over four years. She was struggling with constant nerve pain, pressure in her head and neck and a long list of persistent symptom's of a concussion. She was functioning to work a modified schedule and had no energy for life beyond work. She felt frustrated when two specialists told her, she would likely be in chronic pain and have to live with with persistent TBI symptoms for the rest of her life.

In June 2023 Donna found help. She has since learned the fascia treatment that gave her, life again.  Donna has fully recovered from persistent TBI symptoms (traumatic brain injury). She is now pain-free and helping others live free of, TBI's, chronic pain, PTSD and Trauma.

 

During her time away from the clinic Donna enjoys quality time with her family including her dog Abbie, friends and her part-time side gig at MLSE as a bartender for the Leaf's hockey games, concerts and Raptors Basketball.
